The Low Carbon Education Training Workshop February Series for Architecture Professionals

Low-carbon buildings and retrofits begin with the architect. But to design new buildings or solve issues within existing buildings today requires a full understanding of the low-carbon economy, the latest market and investor expectations, changing regulations, as well as how to incorporate the most optimal solutions in a project’s design. Low-carbon buildings also involve working in a much more integrated way with all project teams, than in the past.

Because the demand for low-carbon buildings is growing and growing across all real estate sectors, those equipped with the right skills and knowledge will be better positioned to lead their teams to meet growing demands, while also advancing their careers in the process.

The free Low Carbon Education Training Workshop for Architecture Professionals is the starting point for architecture professionals. Developed and offered in conjunction with the Royal Architectural Institute of Canada (RAIC), essential topics covered include climate change literacy, climate-responsive design and integrative design thinking.
