• when you access or purchase products through the CAGBC Online Store, CAGBC Learning Hub or MyCAGBC;

• when you express an interest in our products, services or activities (such as when attending an event) to one of our staff or representatives. 

You provide your consent to the collection, use, and disclosure of personal information by us when you provide your information to us or use or engage with our products, services and activities and agree to receive relevant electronic communications from us.

However, if consent is denied or withdrawn, we may not be able to provide you with access to certain products or services.

If you would like to request that no further emails be sent to you, you may unsubscribe at any time by following the appropriate link on each communication, by updating your preferences within your MyCAGBC account, or by sending an email. 

We collect and maintain statistics relating to the number of visits to the site, dates and pages visited, referring website addresses, types of browsers used and domain name or Internet protocol address of the originator. This information is kept strictly confidential and is used for internal purposes only. 

You agree with respect to any information provided to us through this website that:

• The information is non-confidential 
• We may use, disclose, distribute or copy the information and may use any ideas, concepts or know-how contained in the information for any purpose

Third Party Access to Data

We will not disclose or sell your personal information to any third party unless it is required to be disclosed by law to the extent reasonably applicable or is explicitly stated in the opt-in options.  

Information may be shared with the Low Carbon Training partners for those visitors that elect to be contacted about a specific training course as indicated in the Subscribe form.

We take reasonable steps to protect your personal information as you transmit your information from your computer to our site and to protect such information from loss, misuse, unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. Access to Personal Information is restricted to employees who need such information for a legitimate business purpose and such employees are instructed to abide by our privacy practices.
